We have been want to try Huggin Molly's for quite some time and boy are we glad we did. The steaks were perfectly prepared and very flavorful. The veggies were also delightfully tender and not overly seasoned. And then there was desert which was also exceptionally delicious. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu. From the moment we sat down, it felt like we were in for something better—and they delivered. The service was prompt, the food came out surprisingly fast, and everything was fresh, hot, and made with care. How often do you find a place where the food arrives quickly and still exceeds expectations? We tried several things, and not one item missed the mark. The hamburgers were juicy, perfectly cooked, and loaded with fresh toppings—no skimping here. The fish was excellent, flaky and seasoned just right. The homemade chips? Crisp, flavorful, and clearly made in-house. Even the side veggies were cooked just enough to still keep their texture, which is a rare thing. And then there’s the mint chocolate chip malt. “ I love the vintage atmosphere in this restaurant, keeping old towns more historic. The Golly Molly was an absolute bundle of joy because I love sweets and these hot fudge brownies are just chewy and soft and with ice cream on top, makes it scrumptious! ”

“ I mistakenly found a gem I didn’t know existed. I put a bbq place in my gps and got lost. Because of the miscalculation of the gps, I drove into a moment back in time in downtown Abbeville. I was so delighted to find this vintage jewel and Huggin Molly’s on my unexpected journey. There were not many shops, but that didn’t take away from the experience and the fact that it was hard for me to leave. I spent most of the afternoon listening to the songs that filled the streets and tried to remember the books and movies that displayed this era, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful and classy eras. Most definitely, there were many issues during that time period, but to find the beauty from it can be found here, in this step back in the past. I hope one day I’ll hear of a vintage car show or a sock hop there. It’ll be the perfect backdrop for it. ”
